P. P. Mcguinness Dies in Sydney

Paddy McGuinness died yesterday aged 69 years.
Jo Palaitis painted his portrait in 2003. The painting was shown in the Portia Geach Exhibition that year (see below).

Controversial journalist and commentator Padraic P. McGuinness as painted by Josonia Palaitis will be on show in this year's Portia Geach Memorial Award for female portrait painters. The winner of the $18,000 prize will be announced at the exhibition opening on 25th September.
Gallery Talk 3pm on Sunday 12th October. Paddy McGuinness and Jo Palaitis will be guests on the discussion panel. It's sure to be a lively hour and a chance to meet Jo and Paddy.
